Quawan Charles, 15 years old, was reported missing on October 30th. When his mother called the police, they shrugged her off saying he probably went to the local football game.
On November 2nd, his mother was concerned that he was gone too long and got together a search team to find him.
On November 3rd he was found brutally murdered.
And THAT is why I say Black Lives Matter. A black kid was reported missing on Iberia Parish, Louisiana, and cops didn't give a shit. It's still uncertain if searching for him sooner could have gotten a better outcome, but it's well known that the first 24-48 hours are the most important in an abduction case, and police did nothing.
The mother is requesting funds to help pay for the autopsy and funeral expenses.
